I’m useful when a product has heavy logic, unclear flows, many constraints, and a team needs to move faster without making the experience worse.
I start with the system behind the interface: user intent, business logic, constraints, edge cases, and the point where people get confused.
Then I remove what gets in the way: unclear structure, extra steps, weak hierarchy, or decisions nobody owns.
Outside work
Outside design, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I compete in trout fishing, hike in the mountains, and travel whenever I can.
Fishing has become a big part of my life - not just as a hobby, but as a sport, a community, and a way to slow down after intense product work. Mountains and travel give me the same thing in a different form: space, movement, and a clearer head.
Most of my best weekends involve water, mountains, a road trip, or all three.
